Roy Alvin Roberts was born October 21,1977 to Yumiko and Daniel Roberts at the US Navel Hospital in Yokosuka Japan. Soon after his birth, the family of three moved to Bremerton, Washington and later to Port Orchard, Washington.
Roy attended schools in Port Orchard, also attending and achieving a degree at ITT.
At a very young age, he learned to respect and love nature with his parents and worked alongside his father to learn multiple household projects. Like his father, he was there to help those in need, and would often travel back to his mother's home in Washington with his son to help out and work on maintenance projects waiting for them.
He shared his love of nature with his son and friends in hiking, skiing, fishing and camping trips. Roy also enjoyed being out on the golf course with his son Tate, teaching him the ins and outs of the greens.
His greatest joy and achievement was his son Tate who he shared many life adventures with pride and admiration.
Roy is survived by his son Tate Daniel Roberts, his mother Yumiko Roberts of Port Orchard, Washington, Tate's mother Celeste Monson, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel B. Roberts.
He was loved and fondly remembered by all family and many friends with his quick laugh and smile along with his friendly approachable nature, he will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Life is planned for a later date in Taylorsville, Utah
