Rosemary Weaver Cooper, 73, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away Tuesday October 27, 2015.
Born April 7, 1942 to Esther Vivian Imus and Neely Smith of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Married Gary D. Cooper (deceased) on December 26, 1961. They sealed their marriage and love for each other on May 16, 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple.
She is survived by her five sons, Allen, Thomas, Cory, Daniel, and James. She was a loving and caring person. She was surrounded by family and friends at the time of her passing. She began working for the Salt Lake City Police Department in 1979 and retired in 2004. The family would like to thank the staff at LDS Hospital for making her comfortable while she joined the love of her life.
Viewing will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South Salt Lake City, Utah from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Salt Lake Ninth Ward, 270 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by graveside services at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South Salt Lake City, Utah from 12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
