Rose, the daughter of Kisakichi “Charlie” and Kikue Yoshimoto, was born April 28, 1930 in Kemmerer, WY. Rose passed away peacefully in her sleep while at home in Salt Lake City on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at the young age of 84. She is survived by her caring husband, Norton K. Kanzaki. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives. Rose is loved by so many and will be sorely missed.
Rose had an amazing work ethic. She was a valued employee for EIMCO for 30 years. Rose will best be known as the woman that always had a joke to tell. Although Rose’s mortal body was afflicted, Rose never focused on the negative but rather had an amazing sense of humor and always made you smile if you were in her presence. We hope that there will be plenty of Hershey Kisses, People Magazines and word searches on the other side. The family would like to thank the kindness and care extended to Rose by Erick Utley, Aspire Home Health and Hospice and Sunrise Home Health and Hospice.
There will be a viewing for Rose on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S. State St. Sandy, UT 84070. The funeral service will be held on Saturday Aug. 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a additional viewing one hour prior to Saturday’s services. Interment following the service at Lake Hills Mortuary.
