Rosalyn Kay Warner Ochsenhirt

January 8, 1943 — March 29, 2021

Rosalyn Kay Warner Ochsenhirt (Rose) was born January 8th, 1943 in Salt Lake City Utah. She Married Fred Horst Ochsenhirt in the Logan Temple on May 2nd, 1963. On Monday March 29th, 2021 Rose passed peacefully into the spirit world with her devoted husband by her side while her loving daughter and sister held her hands. Precious few on this earth may leave here knowing that they left a mark of true and unconditional love behind. With the earned titles of daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Rose would be happy to report this is her legacy. She worked as a managing lunch room lady for the Granite School District for many years, and loved her coworker Tina and all the kids. Rosalyn loved her Heavenly Father and remained a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. With a sharp mind and enormous vocabulary Rose was a fierce competitor while playing games with friends and family. She had a wit and sense of humor that could be cherished by all who experienced it. She encourage you to have more food on your plate, was quick to compliment, slow to judge, an expert listener and advice giver, forgave all who wronged, turned none away and sang terrible Birthday songs. How can you highlight the life of a Wife and Mother like that? You might look to her loving husband of over 50 years or perhaps ask any of her four children. With 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren one can see Rose’s posterity and the love they have for her. Until she greets us at the gates, she will be sorely missed. May the Lord bless and keep you until we meet again.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents Melvin Dean Warner and Mildred LaRue Nelson and her siblings Sterling, Melanee and Grant.
Rosalyn is survived by her husband Fred, her son Scott (Kathy), her son Daniel, her son Nathan (Melissa), her daughter Tammy (Garry), 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, her brothers Paul (Maryl Warner), Mark (Hillary Warner), Richard (Leslie Warner), and her sister Laurie (Craig Jacobson)
