Rosalee Whetzel Smith

On December 11th 2021, in Hearne Texas, Rosalee Whetzel Smith peacefully passed away and rejoined the love of her life David L. Smith.  Rosalee was born in Roseburg Oregon on July 23, 1942 to Elizbath Cox Smith and Joseph Whetzel. She married David on May 31st1963 and later sealed to him in the Salt Lake Temple on October 17th1981.
Family was the center of Rosalee’s life; she enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for charity as she was on the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes. She spent years of her life sewing and quilting blankets for her family and to donate to those in need. Rosalee had a passion for cooking and enjoyed making meals for her family and baking cookies with her grandchildren.
Rosalee is survived by her sister Arlene Welker, and her three children Kimberly (Bob), Timothy (Mary), and Gregory, her 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loving husband David L. Smith of 49 years.
A viewing for Rosalee will be held on Monday, December 27th 2021 at 11:00am and Interment to follow at 12:00pm at Memorial Redwood Cemetery 6500 S Redwood Rd. West Jordan, Utah
