Ronald “Red” Edward Allred

April 8, 1940 — February 17, 2016

Ronald “Red” Allred, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother was called home to rest on February 17, 2016.  He was born in Moroni, Utah on April 8, 1940 to Bernie and Eddie B. Allred. He spent his life outside building power lines with the IBEW Local 57.  He loved being outdoors; camping, fishing, hunting, bumming around in his truck, or just sitting next to a camp fire with a cold beer in his hand.  A man of few words, his actions spoke volumes.  He loved life and his family with all of his heart.  His blue eyes twinkled with delight every time he looked at his sweetheart.  He is survived by his wife Norma Allred, Daughters; Ronda (L.E. Bake) Allred, Maggie (Mike) Frampton, and Sons Jason Allred, and Donald “Odie” Allred, his sisters Karen (Roger) Ward, Debra (Tony) Vasquez, and brother William Follett, his 11 grandkids, 5 great grandkids, and a large extended family.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Bobbie Ann Midvag, mother in-law Carma Hutchinson, and brother in-law Ted Briggs. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, 1:00 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
