Ronald Erich Millet

Ronald Erich Millet age 70 passed away on November 1, 2023 at his home in West Valley City, UT. He was born on May 29, 1953 to Lore Funk in Weinheim, Germany. He married Joy Lynn Glazier on August 7, 1980 in New Orleans, LA.

He worked in the food industry at American Strevell, Fleming Foods and later in warehouse operations at Litho Graphics before retiring. Ron was an avid golfer. He spent many days just like the postman rain or shine golfing (except in wind) hunting “that damn little white ball”.  He loved to play cards, especially dominos with his sister-in-law’s Beverly and Susan and brother-in-law Roy.

He is survived by his wife Joy, brothers Mike, Richard (Susan), Larry, David, sisters Linda (Ali) and   Debbie, his special girls Melonie (Dave) and Kristy (Brandon). He leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren whom he loved dearly.  Grandpa was his favorite name. He was preceded in death by his mother Lore, Charles Millet, sister Gloria and last but not least his fur babies Sir Charles and Miss Gracie.

Graveside service will be held on November 17, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. In honor of Ron, please wear your favorite Levis, sport or golf shirt and ball cap. As Ron would say with a wink and tip of the bill, don’t forget your hat!
