Ronald Jarvie

January 26, 1926 — December 2, 2016

Our wonderful Father and Grandfather Ronald Matthew Jarvie, 90 of Wallsburg, Utah  passed away on Friday December 2nd, 2016.  Born on January 26, 1926 to John S. and Jennie Jarvie in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He married his beautiful bride Mary Marnell  Rushton in 1948 in Draper, Utah.
Ron was a Veteran , serving in the Korean war in India as a radar intercept officer.  Later he worked for HAFB on test flight missions.  His many many wonderful flight stories always left us breathless, as did all his other memories we listened to countlessley.  He later worked at Hercules as a engineer  making many friends until his retirement . Surviving children:  Deborah Reesor,  Mark (Deb)Jarvie, Pamela (Trent) Cheney,  daughter in law Kathryn Jarvie  and many wonderful grandchildren.  Proceeded in death by his Wife Mary Jarvie, son Paul Jarvie,  granddaughter Natalie Jarvie and son in law Kevin Reesor along with his brothers and in-laws  and  friends he met along the way.  Indeed he will be missed but never forgotten  with his adventures,  kindheartedness and laughter.
Funeral services shall be held at the Wallsburg LDS Chapel on 494 W. Main Canyon Road, Wallsburg, Utah at 11:30-12:30 on Thursday, December 8 with a viewing  prior from 10:30 – 11:15.  Following a luncheon, there will be a 3:30 PM Graveside service at Memorial Estates in Taylorsville on Redwood road.
