Ronald G. Jorgensen was born on July 28, 1925 to his parents George and Sarah Jorgensen. He married the love of his life, Catherine Perkins, on September 26, 1947. Together they loved camping, traveling and spending time with their family. He served in the United States Navy Construction Battalion Seabees while also serving as an honorable member of The Carpenters Union for over 70 years. He completed many projects that served as a lasting testimony to his devotion for his craft.
His “Never Give Up!” attitude was an inspiration to all and was proven through his work ethic and love for life.
He is survived by his children Tamara (Phill) Gannuscia, Ron and Lance Jorgensen, his three grandchildren, Phill (Jessica) Gannuscia, Nicole (Robert) Dorris, Nersha (Joseph) Gubler and four great-grandchildren, Taeler, Carson, Catherine and Wilden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Pine & Woodrow, sister Madeline and great-grandchild Grace.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 15th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial 3115 East 7800 South. An additional viewing will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday August 16th prior to the graveside services held at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial.
