Ronald F. Curtis

Ronald F. Curtis passed away on March 3, 2021, in West Jordan, Utah. He was born on April 10, 1943, in Nampa, Idaho to Jack Leroy Curtis and Edna Mildred Wells Curtis. He married Vickie Morse on February 7, 1969. He served in the National Guard Reserves. He loved spending time with his family and going on vacations with them. He loved to bowl and was on numerous leagues for 40 years. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at the family cabin; most recently in January with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also loved having Sunday family dinners and the Utah Jazz.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie, daughter Michelle (Dave) Astin, son Jeffrey (Cassie) Curtis, 7 grandchildren and their spouses, 5 great-grandchildren, brothers Dan (Liz) Curtis, and Robert Curtis.

He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, brothers, Jerry Curtis and Richard Curtis.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to Intermountain Homecare and Hospice especially his nurse Valerie.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. A viewing will be between 12 pm – 1:30 pm with services starting at 2 pm for the immediate family due to COVID restrictions, masks required. We are limited to 50 people maximum indoors. We will be streaming the services at 2:00 PM for those who can’t attend the service. Follow the link below.


Following Salt Lake County’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a live streaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
