Ronald Devon Fife
March 20, 1932 — April 11, 2018
On April 11, 2018, Ronald Devon Fife left this world to pursue life on the other side. He passed at the age of 86, and after living a full, satisfying life, Ron joined his parents, his brother Raymond, and his beloved son Breck to continue life with them.
Ron was born on March 20, 1932 to Arthur Reuben Fife and Thelma Blair in Jerome Idaho. He grew up in Idaho Falls Idaho with his 2 brothers, Raymond and Gary. Ron was exceedingly blessed in athletics where his loves were baseball and golf. He continued his passion for these activities in college at BYU where he played baseball and was a cheerleader. During his college years he met and married Barbara Marshall. Shortly after, he was drafted and proudly served his country in the Korean War. He had three wonderful children, Devanie Robin Johnson (Clint), Wendy Ann McGregor (Dart), and Breck D Fife. His fondness of the outdoors led to many great family memories camping and fishing. He loved children and dedicated many hours “coaching” and teaching his marvelous skills to the younger generation. He showed an amazing aptitude with his singing skills and loved music.
Later in life, Ron met his “Sweetheart”, JoeAnn Schneider, and spent the last 30 years of his life with her. Between them, they traveled and enjoyed spending time with their many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16th at Mountain View Memorial Estates at 11:00 am. Family and friends may pay their respects 1 hour prior to the funeral. Viewing times are set for Sunday, April 15th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and again, one hour prior to the funeral services on Monday. Following the funeral, the graveside services will be at the same location immediately after. Services will be held at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 Bengal Boulevard, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.Service Information
