Ronald Dee Banks

Ronald Dee Banks passed away December 21, 2017 at St. Marks Hospital in SLC, Utah. He was born April 3, 1935 in Oakland, Alameda County, California to William Guin Banks and Lelia Olenna Christofferson Banks. He married Lois Bjork on August 16, 1957.
Ron was a spiritual leader, temple worker, High Priest group leader, and gospel doctrine teacher. He was an artist, mechanical draftsman, director of the Public Careers program under Mayor Jake Garn, executive self-help trainer to help executives find new jobs, and engineering support person.
Ron is survived by his wife, Lois and five children; Debby Parker, Diana Hertig, Michael Banks, Jennifer Nichols and Stephen Banks. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, and a step-father, James Williams. Also preceding him death were his father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Wilhemenia Bjork.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM with a viewing beginning at 8:30 AM. at the Holladay 10th Ward, 4601 South 2565 East, Holladay, Utah. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Memorial Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary.
