Ronald Craig Webb

Ronald Craig Webb, was born 10 April 1944 in Salt Lake City, UT to his parents, Calvin and Kathryn Webb. He was raised in Salt Lake City with his siblings, Michael Webb and Laura (Webb) Adams. He graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City as a National Merit Scholar, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, shortly thereafter.
He served in Vietnam, whereupon he met his future wife, LaDonna Dingley, through a correspondence program for service members serving in Vietnam. Upon completion of his tour of duty in Vietnam, he returned to Camp Pendleton, CA. They continued their relationship until his Honorable Discharge and married in Las Vegas, NV. They travelled extensively across the country throughout his career as a data processing engineer and operations executive for various financial institutions. He and his wife have 5 children: Clifton Webb, Calvin Webb, Evelyn (Webb) Owen, Laurel (Webb) Weaver, Sarah (Webb) Harris, many grandchildren, and a great grandchild.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved nature and the mountains. He was a proud Marine who continued a lifelong relationship with his fellow Marines that he served with in Vietnam, travelling great distances throughout the years for platoon reunions. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, uncle, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. For those who knew him, he was honest, fair, hardworking; welcoming and embracing all based on their merits and goodness, regardless of their background, beliefs, or affiliations.
He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, comfort and strength.
Services will be held at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, UT 84070. Viewing will be between 6‐8 pm on Thursday, 18 November, 2021. Services will be held Friday, 19 November, 2021 with a viewing at 10 am; service at 11 am and concluding with graveside services at 12 pm, with full military honors provided by a contingent of United States Marines.
