Ronald Bryant Christensen

Ronald Bryant Christensen, age 85, died on August 26, 2018 in Bountiful, Utah. He was born on July 14, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bryant Harry Christensen and Gladys Irene Christensen. He married Barbara Alene Johnson on April 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Ron attended South High School then served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a house painter for several years and then worked as a commercial artist for the Newspaper Agency Corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah until he retired. Ron also owned his own sign painting business.
He is survived by his wife, (Barbara); four children: Debra Christensen ( Kent) Miller; Robert Bryant (Connie) Christensen; Beverly Jean Christensen (Keith) Beal; and Marilyn June Christensen (Frank) Taylor; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the meetinghouse of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 6634 South Greenfield Way (1800 East), Cottonwood Heights, Utah, 84121. There will be a viewing at 10:00 am until 11:30 am. The funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 Bengal Blvd., Cottonwood Heights, Utah, 84121.
