Ronald B. Lloyd

Ronald B. Lloyd passed away March 27, 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on January 16, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eugene C. and Laurie Budd Lloyd. He married Carolyn Clegg on September 5, 1959.
Ron loved being a WBBA Baseball Umpire and Coach. He played in two Senior Harmonica Bands, performing at care centers across the valley. He loved fishing, tying his own flies; loved old movies; westerns and musicals. He also served for many years as a volunteer at St. Marks Hospital.
Ron is survived by his spouse, Carolyn; children: Mindi Lloyd, David (Tina) Lloyd and Cara Bransley) Stephens. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren: Jenny (Jason), Brendon Husley; Chelsie Scott; Shannon (Tony), Adam Morlock; Courtney (Johnny), Luis, Aaliyah, Matteo Medina; Barkley (Madison) Lloyd; Allison Lloyd; Danica, Trent, Curtis, Carley, Jacob Stephens. Sisters: Anakule; Julie (Craig Smith); Leslie (Bill) Cunningham.
Ron was preceded in death by Cindi Scott (daughter) and Jeffery Scott (grandson).
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah. Viewings will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm and one hour prior to services at the same location. Interment will be at Riverton Cemetery.
