Ron Traver

Ron K. Traver, our loving husband, father and grandfather, age 65, of Magna , UT passed away peacefully on September 14, 2014 with his loving wife of 38 years by his side.
He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on August 8, 1949 to Charles and Mable Traver. Ron was a hard-working dedicated family man with many passions in life. You could always find dad in his garage working on his cars. His passion in life was building his hot rods and the occasional steering column.
Dad was kind man with a big heart, and he never hesitated to help anyone in need. Another one of dad’s passions was his family. He always put them first.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Betty; four children, Tony (Ciree), Rick (Shanda), Odum (Dale), Tina (Brian); brother, Randy (Nikki); sisters, Sandra (Michael), Susan (Alan); 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18th, 11:00 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. with a viewing Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
