Roger Eugene Berry, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away at his home South Jordan, Utah on July 21, 2024. He was born on November 11, 1946, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. 

Roger led a life full of diverse interests and talents. He was a skilled fabricator welder, mechanic, and handyman who could fix just about anything. With a passion for collecting items that might prove useful one day, he found joy in the simple act of preserving memories.

Among his many roles in life, Roger dedicated over two decades to spreading cheer as Santa Claus while his wife Connie supported him as his elf. Their partnership brought happiness to countless families during the holiday season.

Roger is survived by his loving spouse Connie Berry; his children Chad Berry, Louise Myers (Corey), Kristen Urie (Dallas), Matt McGowan, and Ben McGowan (RoChelle); his grandchildren Gabbi (Jordan), Morgan, Samantha, Chase, Tessa, Adeline, Jack, and Penelope; great-grandchildren Cole, and Sage. He is preceded in death by his parents Shelby and Jewel Berry; his sister Ann Meyers; and his brother Glen Berry.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:45 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the Highland City Cemetery; 6200 West 11000 North, Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM prior to services at Memorial Redwood Mortuary; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
