Rodney Melrose Otterstrom, 78 of Salt Lake City, passed away in his sleep at home with family on Sunday, December 21, 2014. Rodney was born July 18, 1936 to Oscar Melrose Otterstrom and Annie Laurie Lovelady Otterstrom.
In life Rodney enjoyed his passion of fishing, camping, and table tennis with friends and family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. Rodney married Mary Virginia Plumhof October 8, 1964. They were able to celebrate their 50th anniversary this year. Rodney is survived by his wife Mary, his brother Craig, his sons Michael, Joey, Billy his grandchildren Michael and Jorden.
He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Annie, his brother and sister Clyde and Annie Jean. Funeral Services will be held on December 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South Cottonwood Heights. Memories may be shared at www.mountainviewmemorial.com
