Our adoring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family April 24, 2019. She was our champion, our rock, and the world will never be complete without her.
Robyn was born March 14, 1957 in Provo, Utah to Richard and Myrna Hansen. She married Christopher Grable January 18, 1980 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they built their house in Taylorsville and over the next eight years brought their four children home. Her family was her entire world. She was our constant sports fan, our essay proofreader, our shoulder to cry on, our listening ear, and most of all our best friend. She may have been slow to catch a punch line, but she was always the first to check if we were okay. She was loved by all who knew her, and her unconditional love will ripple through the eternities. Heaven needed its hero back but let us borrow her for a while.
She is survived by her mother Myrna Hansen, husband Chris, four children Brandon (Charley), Scott (Stephanie), Stacy Pistorius (Greg), Trent (Jennie), and eight grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Hansen. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 4, 2019 at 3555 West 5620 South, Taylorsville. Visitation will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am prior to funeral services beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary.
