Roberta Julia Coffey Brooks

Roberta Julia Coffey Brooks passed away on June 22, 2022. She was born on May 20, 1927 to James and Florence Coffey as the oldest of their 4 children. She married in Wyoming to Lester J. Brooks on June 1, 1946. They were married for 70 years until Lester’s death in 2016. Roberta was an active and dedicated member of her community from participating in local elections, being a Boy Scout leader and a Primary President. She taught her children and grandchildren that being a part of your neighborhood and community was one of the most important things they could do.
Roberta is survived by her sons Lester (Tammy), Michael (Deanna), Robert (Hollis), Mark, Daniel, 17 grandchildren and 40 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sons David and Tom. Her legacy to always be home before the street lights come on will live on with the next generations of family.
Interment will be at the Mountain View Memorial Cemetery at 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
