Robert E. Wright, 82, husband, father, brother, and son, passed away on December 5, 2014, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Robert was born on February 6, 1932 in Stearns, Kentucky. Robert attended Rock Spring High School and later enlisted in the United States Navy. Robert married Rosa Bergandi.
After their marriage, Robert began working for the Union Pacific Railroad and he and Rosa moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. Robert worked for Union Pacific for 38 years.
Robert enjoyed fishing, listening to music on the radio, spending time outdoors, gardening, nice cars and women.
Robert is survived by his daughters Kathy (Ray) Hansen, Karla J. Bowns, grandchildren Jason Hansen, Angela (Brett) Stewart, Brandi Lee (Jesse) Bowns, Brianna Bagley, his brother, James Wright, 3 great grandchildren, Riley ‘9’, Dallas ‘7’, and MaryLynn ‘6’ Stewart, and several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy Monroe and Henry Wright, his wife, Rosa M. Bergandi, 3 sisters, Margaret Bergandi, Sandra Williams and Barbara Facinelli, and one brother, Henry Wright.
Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Lake Hills Memorial Cemetery, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah, with interment to follow. A viewing will be one hour prior to the service at Lake Hills Mortuary.
