Robert Brigham Woolsey, age 82, died February 16, 2014 , in Murray, Utah. He was born on July 24, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Leonard Woolsey and Harriet Ethel Jensen Woolsey. He was the fifth of seven sons.
Bob married Ruby Jones on April 16, 1953. They would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year.
Bob retired from Consolidated Freightways. He was a truck driver all his life. After retiring, he drove bus for Le Bus for many years. Bob enjoyed golfing and flying his model airplanes and helicopters. He loved to sing—especially at church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Ruby, and three sons and their wives: Mark (Shari), Blake (Deaun), and Boyd (Robbin). He is survived by seven grandsons, seven granddaughters, and sixteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Ray and Earl.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and his beloved grandson, Niles Woolsey.
As per Bob’s wishes, there will be a viewing held on Friday, February 21, 2014, at the LDS church located at 1250 East 4800 South, SLC, from 11:00am-1:00pm, with no funeral service. Followed by internment at Wasatch Lawns Cemetery, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC.
