Robert M. Stam, Jr

Our father’s final wish was granted and he has been reunited with the love of his life. Robert M. Stam, Jr., our beloved father passed away on June 17, 2018 of natural causes. He was born April 23, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert and Rose May Kendrick. Robert served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran.
With his sense of humor and quick wit, Robert was known to many as DOBS (Dirty Old Bob Stam). He loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He had tremendous pride in his children, but mostly in his grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by Sherry, his wife of 48 years. Survived by his children, Cindy; Julie (Chuck) Groat; and Rob (Emily); grandchildren, Jonathan; Daegon; Chaz; Izabella; Trenton; Jayden; and Ryker, sister Sharron (Randy) Collins; and brothers Craig (Ann); and Ron (Carolyn).
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018, 12:00 PM at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a gathering one hour prior (11:00 AM) in the mortuary.
