Robert Michael Leigh, a beloved son, father, brother, grandfather, friend, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born on July 18, 1966, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Robert lived a remarkable life filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.


Robert was known for his vibrant personality and adventurous spirit. He had an unwavering passion for golfing and spent many summers indulging in his favorite pastime at The Mick Riley golf course. The greens were his sanctuary where he found solace and happiness. He would often showcase his talent to family and friends and inspire them to embrace the beauty of the sport.


During the fall season, Robert took on a different role as an actor at the Castle of Chaos haunted house. With his captivating performances, he thrilled and scared the locals with his remarkable acting skills. As a true entertainer at heart, Robert found immense joy in bringing smiles and chills to those who visited the haunted house.


As winters approached, Robert cherished spending time with his cherished family and close friends during the holidays. He held a special place in his heart for this time of year when everyone gathered to create everlasting memories filled with love and warmth. His infectious laughter echoed through the room as he shared stories and jokes with loved ones.


One of Robert's proudest accomplishments in life was undoubtedly his children and grandchildren. He loved being silly with his grandkids, embracing every moment of pure joy that they brought him. His dedication to being a loving father to Spencer Leigh and Ana' Mooney was exemplary. They looked up to their father with admiration for his wisdom and unwavering support.


Robert's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family members: his son Spencer Leigh, daughter Ana' Mooney; father Robert E Leigh; brothers Eric Leigh; Earl Leigh; grandson Kayson Mooney; grandsons Jay and Dex Mann-Leigh; and the mother of his children, Heather Stevens. His presence in their lives will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will live on through each of them.


To honor Robert's life, two services have been planned. The first service, a viewing, will be held on February 8, 2024, at the Memorial Murray Mortuary in Murray, Utah. The viewing will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Friends and family will gather to pay their respects and share cherished memories of Robert.


On February 10, 2024, a Celebration of Life ceremony will take place at the Mick Riley Golf Course in Murray, Utah. Starting at 3:00 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM, this event will serve as a tribute to Robert's remarkable journey and the indelible impact he had on those around him.


Robert Michael Leigh touched the lives of many with his vibrant spirit and love for life. His infectious laughter and warm heart made him a dear friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. As we bid farewell to our beloved Robert, let us celebrate his incredible life and find solace in the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
