Robert Lee Brown

April 20, 1949 — December 20, 2017

Robert Lee Brown was born April 20, 1949, to Harvey Lee Brown and Maria Lucia Brylewska and welcomed by an excited older sister, Jan, in Brazil, Indiana.  Two years later he got to be an older brother to Barbara.  With Harvey being in the military, the family was able to travel all over the world together. They ended up in Arizona at the end of those travels, where Bob spent his teenage years.
He graduated from the old Mesa High School in 1967 and went on to attend Mesa Community College to study criminal justice.  When living in Arizona, he worked as a bar tender and at a sugar beet factory. He then moved to Utah and worked for Mark Steele for many years.
His passion was hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Christy.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; sisters Jan (Jack) Finney and Barbara Pavich; children Jeff, Jeremy (Neasha) Moore, Branden (Christie), Bobby (Maria), Lindsay (Charles) Fallon, Corey Hadley, December Tudor, and Scott Hartwig; 17 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He died at home after a long illness on December 20, 2017, with his wife and two sons by his side.
We will celebrate his life on December 27, 2017, at 2:00 pm at the LDS Taylorsville Stake Building located on 4845 S. Woodhaven Dr. (1365 West) with a viewing beginning at 12:30 p.m.  He will be interned at Mt. View Memorial Mortuary & Cemetery located at 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.
