Robert Lamar Graham

January 4, 1926 — November 21, 2017

Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017 at the age of 91. Robert was born in Fairview, Utah on January 4, 1926 to George and Agatha Graham. He grew up in Sanpete County and graduated from Mount Pleasant High in 1944. He served in the Army in WWII and later in the Korean War.
He graduated from BYU where he met the love of his life, Paula Tanner. They were married on December 28, 1950 and later sealed in the Manti Temple. They enjoyed 66 years of marriage. He taught 4th, 5th & 6th grades in four different elementary schools for 30 years. In the LDS church, he served as finance clerk, ward clerk, and Seventies Quorum President. He loved Genealogy and working in numerous church positions throughout his life. He had a strong testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Robert owned his own sprinkler company where he spent his summers working and also enjoyed spending time in his own yard. He could work sun-up to sun-down and he loved every minute of it.
He and Paula were avid BYU football fans and they held season tickets for many years. They spent many a weekend traveling to Provo to cheer on their Cougs.
Robert was an avid reader and history buff, with World War II being a favorite past time. His life experiences made him a great source of information for his children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife Paula and six children: Stephen (Henny) Graham; Linda (Wayne) Walker; Rick Graham; Gary (Rowena) Graham; Brad (Lisa) Graham; Bryan Graham; 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister Carol Dickison and brother Charles (Kaye) Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Agatha Graham, brother, Harold Graham and sister, Shirley Francis.
