Robert Kevin Hunt

Robert Kevin Hunt was born in Salt Lake City Utah to Richard T James and Vickie Jo Butcher.  He was later adopted by his stepfather, Herbert E Hunt when his mother remarried.  Robert traveled quite a bit with his family and lived with his parents in many different places while Herb was in the military.  Their many adventures took him to Panama, North Carolina, Ohio, and finally back to Utah. While growing up, he participated in Boy Scouts, pinewood derby, and Order of the Arrow to name a few.  Robert loved so many things and was always happy to show off his newest toy; it didn’t matter if it was the biggest flat screen tv or his shiny new Camaro. Later in life, he was so proud to have earned certificates at Salt Lake Community College for Pharmacy Tech and Welding.  His biggest joy was helping you find the best of anything.  His heart was always just as big as his attitude.  If you were lucky to be in his circle, you were able to experience his never-ending love and support. He is survived by his father Richard James, sister Crystal (Rose), sister in law Becky (Larry), stepsiblings: Joey, Rusti, Andrea, Mark, and Kitty, nephew Greg (Tiera), Niece Lisa and his favorite great nieces and nephew.  He is preceded in death by his mother Vickie, stepfather Herbert, brother Larry, and his grandparents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday June 11, 2021 at 1:00pm – 2:00pm with a viewing taking place from 11:00am – 1:00pm prior at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary on 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121. The interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
