Robert Johnston

Robert Mark Johnston, our beloved son, brother, stepfather, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2015. He was born April 10, 1964 in Murray, Utah to Roger and Lois Ione Hansen Johnston.
Mark loved to spend time with family and friends. He was kind, generous, caring and funny. He had a quick sense of humor that will be sorely missed. He was always ready to help anyone in need.
He had a passion for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and rode as often as he could. He was an avid gun collector and had enough ammunition to supply a small army. Mark enjoyed spending time with friends at his cabin and his Great Danes, Boris and Natasha were the loves of his life.
Mark was a hard working, dedicated employee of Intermountain Rigging and HeavyHaul for 27 years, where he was described as “one of the best.”
Mark is survived by his parents, Roger and Lois, his brothers and sisters, Kathryn Johnston, Daniel Johnston, Larry (Taryna) Johnston and Karen (Richard) Johnston-Broadhead; step daughter, Scarlet Smith, as well as his nephews, niece and countless friends.
Mark was well respected and so loved. His passing leaves a huge hole in all our hearts. His life was a blessing and he will be missed beyond words.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Viewings will take place from 6-8:00 pm on Monday and one hour prior to the funeral at the mortuary. Interment to follow.
