Robert Fehrmann

December 18, 1938 — February 11, 2020

December 18, 1938 to William Fredrick Fehrmann and Dorothy Julia (nee Winter) Fehrmann.  His soul moved on to a better place on February 11, 2020.
He was a jack of all trades and loved woodworking, yard work, dancing in general and belonged to several square dance clubs.  He also enjoyed painting ceramic Santa Clauses, home improvements and repairs and just tinkering in general.  He loved to tell a good story and made friends with everyone he met.  His family affectionately referred to him as Grumpy as he liked to put on a stern face and could be quite stubborn at times. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a workaholic and enjoyed his employment at American Stores and Hill Air Force Base.
He is survived by all of his living relatives, his loving wife, Patricia P (nee Mathis) Fehrmann, children Victoria L (Michael) O’Farrell, W Douglas (Melinda Gibson) Fehrmann and Brian S Fehrmann. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, younger brothers Francis, Ronald and Billy Joe Fehrmann, and his grandson Aaron R O’Farrell.
Internment will be held at Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park in Bluffdale, UT on February 28, 2020 at 2:00 pm.  A celebration of his life will be held on February 29, 2020 from 3:30 to 7:00 pm at the VFW Hall located at 1389 Main Street, Layton, Utah.
