Robert Calvin Johnson

Our beloved and self identified old fart passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning with family by his side. Robert was born May 6th, 1957. He was the 5th of 6 kids raised by his mother Una Candland Johnson. During his life he acquired many skills that he enjoyed teaching to his children or anyone interested. Robert enjoyed all things regarding mechanics and made a profession out of it throughout his lifetime.
Robert always looked forward to his ghost town seeking adventures. He’d often be found sitting in his favorite chair while watching the news. Robert enjoyed music of all genres and instilled the love and appreciation to all of his kids.
Robert is survived by his wife Kathryn, and children Rob (Mary), Beccy (Jon), Andrew, Emily, and Elizabeth “Lu”. Robert also had 6 grandchildren; Justin, Danny, Calvin, Zach, Trevin, and Myra.
A viewing will be held Tuesday August 16th from 1pm – 3pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuaries (6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville Utah) for those wishing to pay respects. A memorial service will immediately follow.
