Robert “Bob” William Norman

Robert “Bob” William Norman, age 91, passed away on May 11, 2018, in Holladay, Utah. Bob was born on February 21, 1927, Big Timber, Montana, to Carl John Norman and Edwina Brown. Bob served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 during WWII. He met his “little one” June Elaine Rice and they married July 11, 1964. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter Debbie. He worked for 26 years as a truck driver for Salt Lake County. Bob enjoyed long car rides, his grandkids, his movie collection (by the hundreds), and his love of studying the bible.
Bob is survived by wife June Elaine Norman, his daughter Debbie Lee Earley (Vern W), grandchildren Cassie Ann Baker and Kevin Robert Earley, one great granddaughter Eliza Jade Earley, and two brothers Richard and David Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl John Norman and Edwina Brown Norman, two sisters Mary Kirkham and Sara Hunt, and three brothers Thomas, Edwin, and John Norman.
A graveside service with Navy final honors will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018, 1:30, with a viewing beginning at 12:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
