Robert "Bob" Hanford

Robert (Bob) Hanford, age 79, passed away on February 10, 2024, in Salt Lake City.  Bob was born on September 29, 1944, in Denver, Colorado to Elmer and Kathleen Hanford.  Bob married Gayla Koplin on June 12, 1964, and they were fortunate to have spent almost 60 years together.  

Bob was a well-respected engineer and mentor who worked for the same company for 52 years.  Everyone enjoyed Bob’s sense of humor and quirkiness.  Bob’s favorite hobby was going to yard sales and finding treasures.  His family describes him as the world’s most organized hoarder.  Bob enjoyed investing in the stock market and sharing his knowledge with others.

Bob is survived by his wife Gayla, children Kathy, Janell, and Chance, as well as five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.  

Bob will be dearly missed by all.  Not by our side, but forever in our hearts.
