Robert “Bob” Eugene Stump

Robert Eugene Stump, age 66, died on November 28th, 2017, with loving family and friends by his side. He was born on March 30, 1951 in Piqua Ohio, to Hebert and Evelyn Stump.  He is survived by his wife Kim Stump and Children: Shane (Glorian) Stump, Stacy (Craig) Davis, and Shelby (Jarod) Ansted, 9 grandchildren: Paige, Mykenzee, Ryanne, Lavina, Carson, Zranda, Kadeean, Trinity, and Shayna, his sisters: Judy (John) Harding, Beverly (Alan) Cooper, Debra (Ken) Carlson, Theresa (Roger) Carlson, sister in-law Debbie (Stuart) Kroon, brother in-law James (Marie) Minnick and many nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents Herbert and Evelyn Stump and mother in-law Colleen Martain. Dad loved camping, fishing, softball and playing his guitar. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and watching his grandchildren play their sports. In his younger days he played and sang in many different bands.  His Last and final band that he was in for several years was called Mixed Country. He was their lead singer and guitar player. Dad’s all-time favorite place to be was at the Vincent Family Ranch. Dad worked as an auto mechanic for over 50 years. He enjoyed teaching his son, son in-laws and nephews all he knew about his profession. He was a loving Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, and Papa. Whoever he met he touched their lives in one way or another.
A Celebration of life will be Wednesday, December 6th, 2017, 1:00 pm. At Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT 84121.  After the service there will be a light meal served at Bob and Kim’s house. 5464 s Spurrier Rd Murray, UT 84107.
