Robert “Bob” Dale Paetsch
August 7, 1957 — June 9, 2018
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Robert “Bob” Dale Paetsch, 60, of West Jordan, UT, passed away on June 9th, 2018 after a lengthy battle with diabetes.
Bob was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Lois and Ernest Paetsch on August 7th, 1957. He went to school at Highland High School. He took immense pride in his work as a custom design woodworker for his company, Custom Woodworking Service for 30 years. He loved to travel and still had many goals and aspirations. Bob loved adventure and made many cherished memories with his family. He spent his days at his cabin in Brian Head, UT. This was “his place”. He built a beautiful treehouse on his property that he was very proud of.
Bob is preceded in death by both of his parents, Lois and Ernie.
Bob is survived by his wife Nancy, daughter Chandra, 4 step children, Lori, Jerry (Jody), Julie and Kristin (Travis) and brothers Gary and Rick. He had 9 Grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Skyler, Steven, Clint, Danielle, Kash, Alexandra, Isaac and one on the way (Chandra), along with 5 great-Grandchildren, Oak, Kamille, Stevie, Ethan, and Jake. He loved his family and took pride in all they accomplished. Although him and Nancy never married, they spent 31 years loving each other.
A viewing will be held at 10:00 am Thursday June 14, 2018 with Funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at West Jordan River Stake 4th ward 1380 W. 6785 S. with brother Steve Margetts of West Jordan River Stake 4th ward, officiating. A luncheon will follow. Arrangements are by Memorial Redwood Mortuary.
The family of Bob wishes to extend our sincere thanks to his cousin Ann, his Aunt Maureen, and his neighbor Dr. Gary Teare for all their help and support at the end of his life.Service Information
