Rick Garrett

November 15, 1965 — February 24, 2016

Rick was born on 11-15-65 and passed away peacefully of natural causes on 02-24-2016.
His love for animals brought him to work for the S.L County Animal Control Services where he was right at home. He finally found the love of his life when he met Jose. They were married in Hawaii, his favorite place, on 05-15-2015.
He is survived by his husband Jose, His parents Larry and Connie Smith, his sister Cindy (Curtis), brother Bob (Teresa) his special aunt Kaye “coo-coo bird” (Don), special cousin Scott, and his precious fur babies… Frankie and Dexter. He had too many friends and extended family to mention.
We all love you Rick. RIP. A celebration of life will be held Monday February 29, 2016 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM at Memorial Redwood, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
