Richard Lee Guthrie Jr.

Richard Lee Guthrie Jr. passed away on March 2, 2022 in Holladay, Utah. Richard was born on April 25, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joann Mecham Guthrie and Richard Lee Guthrie.
He married Kathy Joy Guthrie on July 15, 1994.
Throughout his life he enjoyed flying model airplanes, photography, coaching, music, hiking, reading, baseball, football and working in the forest service. Although his greatest accomplishments were being a father and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Joann Guthrie, Sons; Lynn (Angie) Guthrie, Ken (Jason) Guthrie, Matt Guthrie and grandkids; Jayden, Erin, Levi and Declan.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Kathy Guthrie, Dad; Richard Lee Guthrie, sisters; Bobby Jo and Susan.
A Celebration of life will be held on April 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Desert Star Playhouse; 4861 S State Street, Murray, Utah 84107.
