Richard Jaramillo

July 30, 1939 — December 31, 2019

Richard “Dickie” Jaramillo was reunited with his loved ones in heaven on December 31, 2019. He was born on July 30, 1939 in Preston, Idaho and was raised in Montrose, Colorado. In 1967, he moved to Salt Lake City, Utah.
Richard enjoyed watching The News, and going out to the movies. His favorite meal was from KFC. He will be remembered for his great laugh and his love for his nieces and nephews (Isaac Lujan, Leanne Vialpando, Joe Franco, and Alex Sandoval were especially his favorites). Richard didn’t have a mean bone in his body, and his soul was sincere and genuine as could be.
He is survived by his sisters, Julia Franco-Vialpando, Alice Meza, Shirley Meyers, Kathy Wilkens, Gloria Pena, his brothers, Johnnie Jaramillo, and Teddy Jaramillo.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lucy Jaramillo.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah at 11:00 AM.
