Richard Ingolf Bjornson

Cottonwood Heights, Utah—– Richard Ingolf  Bjornson, our loving husband, father, grandfather and Great grandfather passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 11, 2019. Born July 24, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ingolf Bjornson and Mary Amelia Pierson. Married Bonnie R. Bjornson on July 22, 1953.  Spent 62 wonderful years together.
He is survived by children Rick Bjornson (Ann), Margo Fritz, sister in law Barbara Menlove, Four Grand Children and Eight Great Grand Children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Bonnie Bjornson and Grandson Markus Erich Fritz.
Dad graduated from Murray High in 1949, received BS (1954) and MS (1964) from The University of Utah. Served in The United States Air Force for three years and 30 years teaching school. His family was the most important thing in his life.
