Richard Henricksen

Richard Theodore Henricksen, age 90, passed away on August 10, 2021 in Murray, Utah. He was born on September 6, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur S. and Miriam Henricksen. He married Sylvia Skog on May 14, 1955.
Richard was an avid firearms enthusiast and a proud Navy man. He was an incredibly talented electrical and medical engineer. He spent his free time shooting skeet and trap at the Holladay Gun Club, tending to this beautiful vegetable garden, camping with family in Yellowstone and Flaming Gorge, and fishing the Green River. In his early years he was an avid hunter and always made sure to bring his family along.
He is survived by his brother, Jim; sister, Geri; son, Richard; daughter, Dianne; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Lilo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia; daughter-in-law, Tammie; grandson, Aaron; granddaughter, Misty; sisters, Maurine, Donna, and Deaun; and brother, Ray.
A viewing will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 PM at the Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM at the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery located at 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd), Cottonwood Heights, UT.
