Our beloved husband and father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly of heart failure on September 5 and peacefully returned to our Father who art in Heaven.
Rich was born in Chicago and raised in Park Ridge, Illinois. One of five children born to Joseph Paul Musso and Mary Jane DiGiacomo Musso. He attended Main East High School and graduated with a degree in Economics from Bradley University.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Tracy Larsen Musso, and son Jack (17); sisters Maureen Musso, Marianne Long (Rich), and brother Dr. Louis Musso (Tami); and a fun-loving clan of nephews and nieces that he adored and enjoyed mentoring. Preceded by his parents, brother Joe Musso (Liz), and his in-laws Jack and DeeAnn Larsen.
Rich was a success in life, love and business. He got his first job at the early age of eleven. His innate drive and his personable attributes were a perfect fit for a successful career in sales. For the past fourteen years Rich was a business owner/partner of an industry leading company that encompasses thirteen offices in ten states. He appreciated all the business relationships and associations his position entailed. Foremost Rich cared for his employees and took a keen interest in their welfare and their families.
Rich’s career and sense of adventure afforded travels around the world which always included a golf course even in the most remote lands. An avid skier and golfer he was forever in search of the perfect snow (which he found in Utah) and the perfect golf swing which he honed at his beloved golf courses, Medinah Country Club, South Shore CC, and The Salt Lake Country Club.
His friendships, adventures, challenges and rewards were plenty; however, most important to Rich was his family. All conversations led to his son Jack for whom he had immense pride, Rich reveled in Jack’s many talents, accomplishments and bright future. Rich was always present in his family’s lives and the enormous love and devotion he had for them was returned to him tenfold.
Our extensive family would like to thank his friends, colleagues and the community he embraced so dearly for their love and thoughtful care and concern.
