Richard Devlin

January 13, 1944-June 21, 2016

















Richard Devlin (prefers to be called Dick) passed away on the morning of June 21, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his loving wife Carla and their 6 kitties, 2 daughters- Virginia Stratton and Becky Devlin-Hutchins, a stepson- Damien Horn, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 11 siblings. Dick was the oldest of 12 children and was a wonderful big brother that his siblings looked up to.
Dick was happiest when he was spending time with his wife and grandchildren that he loved so dearly. He had many hobbies and interests but his favorites were ice-skating, snow-skiing, playing hockey, attending plays with his wife, reading and going to the gym. He was outgoing, happy and could make friends in any situation everywhere he went. His love for animals was an incredibly huge part of his life from spending time with his pets to just watching the beautiful birds that would frequent one of the numerous  bird feeders in their yard. He volunteered often, was always helping others and believed in making a difference in the world.
He will be missed more than words can describe.
