Richard Allen Austin

Richard Allen Austin, age 77, died on October 9, 2020, in Ogden, Utah. He was born on June 13, 1943, in Strong City, Kansas, to Charles and Joanna Mae Austin. He married Vicki Wray Hurley Austin on July 15, 1967.
Richard loved baseball. He coached and was umpire for many years. He also enjoyed shooting and was a lifetime member of the NRA and South Bay Rod and Gun Club in San Diego. He was involved in DeMolay International and Job’s Daughters. Richard was a long-time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; brother, Michael Lee Austin; daughters: Kimberly A. Austin Spilman and Kristi L. Austin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. Austin and Joanna Mae Gurney Austin.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday October, 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Canopy at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah. A visitation will take place under the Canopy at 9 AM. Interment will be in the Memorial Lakeview Cemetery.
