Rhonda “Rhoni” Louise Freyta was born August 19, 1970 in Denver, Colorado to Debra Romero and Ronnie Freyta, returned home on March 17, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Rhonda is survived by her mother, Debra Romero, step-father Manuel Cruz, her special girl Daija, sister Elena Cruz, nieces Alexus and Jordana Cruz, and Alicia Jane Lopez, step-brothers Amador Gomez, Steve and Jess Jr, grandparents Edward Philip Romero and Mardi Romero, aunts Vivian, Josie Freyta, uncles, Mark and Ed Romero, Delfino Hernandez and many other cousins and friends.
Rhonda loved playing softball and was a lifelong Denver Broncos fan. She had a great talent for woodworking and was an excellent cook. Rhonda had the biggest heart and loved unconditionally as a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her absence will be forever felt in the lives of everyone who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123 at 7:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior.
