Rex Andersen

Lester Rex Andersen passed away at home on October 15, 2014. He was born April 27, 1930 to Viola Annie Frandsen and Andrew Lester Andersen in Ogden, Utah. He married Barbara F. Johnson in 1951. She passed away in 1990. He later remarried Jeanne Smith.
Survived by his wife and children, Kevin Andersen, Kim (Marion) Chesley, Karen (Dave) Cowley, Scott (Marian) Andersen, Brian (Linda) Andersen, and David (Jeana) Andersen; stepchildren, Michael (Melissa) Smith, and David Smith. His sisters are Marlene Sweat and Joyce Ottley.
Rex was proud of having many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will dearly miss their Granddad.
Viewing will be held at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Drive, Holladay, on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at Draper 11th Ward, 12870 S. 1300 E., Sandy, on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 10-10:45.
