Renee Allen Beck

Renee Allen Beck age 81, died on 1 March, 2024 in Magna Utah. She was born on 6 February, 1943 in Murray UT to Shirl R. Achter and Vertice Terry Smith. She married William Carl Beck on1 December, 1978; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on 14 December, 1978.

Renee was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings in her years of service, but her favorite calling was of sending birthday cards to all of the sisters in the Lake Ridge 9th and 11th Wards. She was an excellent cook, which her family appreciated very much. She was also an excellent dance instructor. She taught Bill everything he knows about dancing, and they could out-dance any couple in the ballroom. Renee had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed singing in a sextette. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Surviving Renee is her husband, William Beck; children: Scott Murray (Janet), Michele Murray, Brandon Beck, Jason Beck (Kendra), and Jennifer Shreve; 6 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Shirl and Vertice Achter; son, David Murray; and brother, Bruce Achter.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7825 West Sharon drive, Magna Utah. A viewing will be held at the church Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Interment will be in Memorial Redwood cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road.
