Reid Alvey

Reid Alvey, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning from natural causes.  Reid grew up in the Sugarhouse area. Reid was born to Mildred Alvey Burton and James O Alvey. His adult years were spent in Driggs, Idaho as a carpenter.  His joy in life was playing drums with his band for many years and playing golf with his friend Tom. Reid was a brother to his twin sister Ronda (Steve), Sherry, Steve (Rita), Jim (Marie).  He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy, father James Alvey.  Reid has 2 daughters, Heather, Summer; two sons, Shane, Dylan; several nieces and nephews.  No formal services will be held.  Celebration of his life will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon June 25 for family and friends at Ronda’s home.
