Rebecca Lorraine Marie Castillo Rodriguez “Becky”

Rebecca Lorraine Marie Castillo Rodriguez “Becky” passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on July 5, 1966 in Salt Lake City to Lupe and Virginia Castillo. She was a graduate of Granite High School and shortly after received her accountant degree. She married Charles Rodriguez on August 29, 1990 in Salt Lake City. She worked as an accountant with Creative Granite and Design and displayed an amazing knack in management and problem solving. Becky truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, taking trips, going fishing, loved animals, and spending time with her grandchildren. Becky had an uncanny ability to reach out to people in a deep and loving way. She enjoyed being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Charles, son Victor, three brothers Ludy, Joe, and Tony, one sister Kathy Castillo, and her mother, Virginia, as well as three step children Roby, Rhiannon and Stacy Rodriguez, her beloved grandchildren: Alex, Isaac, Dominic, Baby Castillo, Zion, Irie, Kingston, Lily, Chanel, Alanzo, Nevaeh, Genara, Alyanna, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family, friends, and many others whose lives Becky touched are invited to the Celebration of Life.
The Celebration of Becky’s Life will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123. A friends and family gathering will begin at 10:00 prior to the service.
