Raymond William Patton

Raymond William Patton was born May 28, 1945 to Russell Yarnal Patton and Laura Leora Smith in Louisville, KY. He returned to his Heavenly Father Oct 28, 2017. He graduated from Santa Barbara High School, and that night, was on a train to Fort Ord, CA for basic training in the army where he graduated at the top of the class.
He married Judith Quinn and had three children; Kimberly, Stacie, and Eric. They later divorced and he married Vonda Rae Cole (Stapley) Oct 16, 1993 and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple Feb 14, 1998.
He loved the army and spent 35 years serving our country. He also enjoyed remodeling homes and helping others.
He is survived by his wife Vonda Rae, children; Kimberly Naisbitt (Scott), Eric (Amber), Stacie (Jamie). Sister Mary Ann Bailey (Dan), 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his mother, father, step-mother, Helen Stumpf, sister Nancy Frojd.

The family would like to thank CNS Home Health & Hospice for all the care and support during his last days.
Funeral services will be held on Mon, Nov 6th at the LDS chapel at 3930 W 7875 S, West Jordan. Viewing from 10:00 to 11:45, service 12:00. Interment in the Veterans Memorial Park at Camp Williams.
