Raymond Andersen

Ray Andersen passed away Sept 1, 2013 after a hard fought battle with cancer. His wife and son were by his side. Ray was born to Carl and Fern Andersen, October 26, 1940. He was older brother to Bonnie, Connie and Darleen. Married Linda Hanley and had son Taw. After Linda’s death, Ray married Jeannine Andersen, October 9, 2004 and welcomed six step-children into his life. Rays passions were fishing, golfing and was a true Ute fan, taking tickets at the stadium gates for 41 years. Ray and Jeannine faithfully completed a two year mission to N. Sydney Australia. They also served in the Inner City Mission and Conference Center Mission for three years. Ray enjoyed serving weekly at the Bountiful Temple as an ordinance worker. Survived by wife, Jeannine, son, Taw and Deborah (Trevin and Justin), six step-children, eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters. Preceded in death by parents and sister Darleen. Funeral services to be held Thursday, Sept 5th, 11:00 a.m. at the Centerville 7th Ward, 270 N. 300 E. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the church and 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services on Thursday. Interment, Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
