Randy Thorpe

Randy, age 62, died June 4, 2014 in Holladay, Utah. He was born March 5, 1952 in Hempstead, New York. Randy was a lifelong cement finisher and he enjoyed camping, fishing and scuba diving. He married Nancy Chilton and later divorced. He was a big tease and loved teasing those he cared about, especially his great nieces and nephew. We are going to miss you giving us a hard time.
He is survived by his loving parents: Veneta (Gene) Groves; step-daughter, Carlie Chilton; brothers: Darrell (Sue) and Rick (Lorie); sisters: Sheryl Fisher and Patti Holman and many nieces and nephews and his dog, Taz. Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxine and Bud Luce.
An open house will be Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Hills Memorial Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
Casual dress is welcomed.
